Documents & files

Delivery work produces paperwork — contracts, briefs, invoices, deliverables — and the tool that tracks the work should hold its evidence too. In PMOlikePRO, files live on the record they belong to, not in a shared-drive folder that drifts out of sync.

Files on every record

Projects, tasks, clients, contacts and team members each carry a Documents panel. Upload with the button, drag a file in, or paste it straight from the clipboard — and attach files in any chat or journal composer, where a target bar files the attachment onto the right record before it sends.

Every upload carries a document type — contract, invoice, brief, report, and any custom types your organization defines in Settings — so a record’s file list reads like an index, not a downloads folder.

The Documents window

The Documents entry in the sidebar shows every file in the workspace in one place: filterable by type, format and uploader, grouped the way the rest of the app groups, with count chips that lead back to the owning record. What you can see there follows your role — the window never widens anyone’s access.

Rules that keep it trustworthy

• Safe formats only — documents, spreadsheets, images, text and media on an explicit allowlist; executables and other risky formats are refused outright.
• 50 MB per file — big enough for real deliverables, small enough to keep exports and previews honest.
• Preview where safe — PDFs, images, media and text open in place; everything else downloads.
• Audited end to end — uploads, downloads, renames and deletions all land in the activity trail with a name and a timestamp.

Trash, storage and limits

Deleted files move to a 30-day trash before they are gone — and they count toward storage until the trash clears them, so the meter never lies. Every workspace includes 10 GB; administrators are warned at 80% and 95%, everyone at 100%, and at the limit uploads pause — nothing is ever deleted for you.
