Getting started with PMOlikePRO
PMOlikePRO is organized around one idea: your organization is a private, isolated workspace — your projects, people, clients and numbers live in it, and nobody outside it can see in.
Your organization
When your organization is provisioned you receive an administrator account. The admin owns the workspace: organization name and logo, the display currency, security policy (including enforcing two-factor authentication for everyone), and the team roster.
Start in Settings and make the workspace yours — upload your logo and set your organization name. Both follow you across the app and into exported reports, so everything you hand to a client carries your brand.
Invite your team
Add people in Team. Every person gets one of four roles:
- Admin — runs the workspace: settings, security, roster, everything.
- Manager — runs the work: full visibility across projects, budgets and reports.
- Member — does the work: sees and updates only the projects they are assigned to.
- Viewer — observes: read-only access to what they are explicitly given.
Roles are enforced at the database layer, not just hidden in the interface — a member’s account simply cannot read another team’s projects or anyone’s rates.
Your first project
Create a project in Projects, give it a client if you have one, and add milestones for the checkpoints that matter. Then break the work into tasks and assign them. Assignments drive everything downstream: what people see, what lands on their calendar, and where logged time rolls up.
The daily rhythm
From there the operation runs itself in three places:
- Calendar — plan who works on what, when. Drag work across days; the system warns you when someone is overallocated.
- Tasks — the working surface. Statuses, journals, checklists and time logging live here.
- Reports — what happened, structured for handoff: delivery status, time, and (for managers) the financial picture.
Where to go next
